Connection Circle is a meeting place where people from all cultures, backgrounds, and stages of life come together. We believe that meaningful connections begin with simple encounters: a conversation, a shared activity, a creative moment, or time to relax together. Whether you’re new to Amstelveen or a long-time resident, Ontmoeting Lokaal is a place where everyone is welcome.
Connection Circle is located on Ouderkerkerlaan in a beautiful former school building, now a protected monument. The building has a rich history and has been carefully redesigned as a space for today’s diverse and international community.
Events
The center consists of three characteristic spaces, each named after the building’s history and designed to accommodate different types of meetings.
OdinLokaal, named after the historic gymnastics club ODIN, is our largest space and is ideal for cultural events, performances, neighborhood parties, and activities for larger groups.
ValkhofLokaal is named after the former Keizer Karel College, which once occupied the building. It offers a warm and flexible environment for workshops, classes, meetings, and smaller events.
ValkhofLokaal Coach is a beautiful space for 2-3 people for coaching, therapy or language lessons.
At Connection Circle, our door is always open.
Come by for a cup of coffee, to learn, to be creative, to exercise or to have a chat – and become part of a circle where connections are formed naturally.
