Dolfina Presents: “Holland”

During International Women’s Day, artist Dolfina will share remarkable works from her series “Holland.” This collection is a tribute to her homeland and captures the essence of what makes the Netherlands unique to her.

In her often surreal photographs, Dolfina brings to life the rich, warm colors and the mysterious light of Rembrandt. The series is a visual journey past well-known Dutch icons: from Delft blue pottery and blooming tulips to wooden clogs and the taste of licorice. Distinctively Dutch traditions are also featured, such as the enduring excitement around the Elfstedentocht and the joyful spirit of the national “orange fever.”
