Celebrate with us: Vrouwencirkel Amstelveen turns 1 Year

On Saturday, March 8, we not only celebrate International Women’s Day but also the first anniversary of Vrouwencirkel Amstelveen! Exactly one year ago, we started our journey on International Women’s Day 2024, and since then, we have enthusiastically organized a diverse range of activities for women in Amstelveen and the surrounding areas.

Connecting and engaging At Vrouwencirkel, it’s all about meeting, connecting, and experiencing together. We organize activities on different days, times, and locations, making it possible for everyone to join at some point. Moreover, most of our activities are free, ensuring accessibility for all.

A year full of inspiring activities In our first year, we have done so much! From creative workshops like origami, Happy Stones, and chakra drawing to sporty activities such as jeu de boules, curling, and nature walks with IVN guides. We have visited special places like the Urbanus Church and ANNA Church (including a beer tasting!) and had an exclusive tour of the town hall, where we engaged in conversation with the alderman. And this is just a glimpse of the many wonderful moments we have shared.
